Springtime Sizzle 2024
Sunday Morning 3rd March after 11.00 Mass, saw us open for business for our events for 2024. We had a great crowd turn out in support of the "With Love, Steph" charity and in support of the mental wellbeing of the young people in Warrington. A good crowd enjoyed their bacon butties, veggie sausages, Tea, Toast, Juice, yummy cakes, craft stall and Piety stall. The weather was good to us as we enjoyed probably the first sunny day in a long time and sitting in the sun was certainly much warmer than it has been for the last few months.

At the Parish Council meeting, which took place the day after the Springtime Sizzle event, John Glynn, Chairman of the PC, sent this note of thanks:

On behalf of the With Love, Steph charity, we would like to give a massive thank you to all at St. Peter and St. Michael's who helped on the day to make our Sunday Brunch a huge success. We sold out completely of our bacon butties, the beautiful cakes and lots of crafts were a big hit.
It was a gorgeous day weather-wise and such a nice atmosphere out in the garden. We are so lucky here at St. Peter and St. Michael's to have so many people willing to give their time and energy to create events like this one on Sunday. We are a fantastic community and long may it continue to be a caring and loving family church.
We raised over £700 on the day which will go towards the total needed for our schools in Warrington.
