Christmas 2022

After the passing of Fr. Gildea, our Christmas Services were slightly curtailed by the unavoidable ommission of Midnight Mass. This Mass always proved popular but we had to make the necessary adjustments to ensure we were able to celebrate Our Saviour's birth. A small price to pay!

Our traditional family Mass at 18.30 did go ahead and was very well attended. We harked back to some of the service that Fr. Gildea so enjoyed, but we also added some new memories thanks to Fr. Raymond and an improvised singing of a Caribbean Christian classic.

The children, and the adults, all seemed to thoroughly enjoy the service and also those who normally attended midnight Mass were also suitably impressed with the Family Mass.

A couple of pictures taken from the balcony (see below) help to set the scene for what happened.
